Music on the Hill: Fall Edition

by Carolyn Ten-Eyck ’18

Welcome back to Music on the Hill, where I ask a miscellaneous member of the oh-so-hip Kenyon community about music. This week, I asked for songs about fall (since, fittingly, it is October). Here’s what I got back!

Ed Sheeran – Autumn Leaves

“It’s very good … it’s very sweet. There’s this version of it where he’s playing it live and there’s birds in the background and it’s beautiful. It reminds me of autumn. Like things dying.”

Migraine – 21 Pilots

“It reminds me of fall because it’s kind of about life sucking and fall’s the time where you realize that life sucks. And everything’s dying.” [laughs] “That’s all I got.”
