Playlist: Songs Overheard at Wiggin Street

By Isa Mojares ’20kenyon_10-17-12_0372.jpg

Inspired by a combination of this Thrill article and procrastination, I sat at a booth in Wiggin and tried my best to catch a few of the songs being played over the speakers.

While some I easily recognized, Shazam came in handy quite often, too. More than once I’ve wondered who crafts Wiggin Street’s cozy, ambient playlists. They often seem to be a good mix of old classics and newer, softer (calmer?) tunes.

Anyway, here are some jams to give you that Wiggin Street ambiance we all love:

“Your Song” by Ellie Goulding

“Mango Tree” by Angus and Julia Stone

“Lean on Me” by Bill Withers

“Loving You is Easy” by Sarah McLachlan

“Down to You” by Bonnie Raitt

“Jolene” by Ray LaMontagne
